MISSION

Picture
Education is the basic right to every human being and thus, through this initiative we have decided few missions

  • We intend to set up libraries in the rural areas of Odisha This would certainly help us in tapping literary talents from such remote places and help them to develop a connection with the industry in near future.

  • We believe that through this two day long festival, we would be able to offer the right platform to connect the budding talents to the literary giants.

  • We also wish to initiate several campaigns on girl's education and promote menstrual hygiene.

  • We would 30000 students of tribal background from KISS attending the same.

VISION

"With the primary aim of reviving the dying word and creating a safe space for the younger generation, Kloud9 is thriving to furnish the youngsters with tools and the freedom to indulge in acts of self expression with out any restraint. In doing so, Kloud9 has ventured into the realms of various creative mediums-be it the written word, performance art or be it through community building.

The process of curation of a Kloud9 issue entails inter active sessions with our bank of young writer sand thinkers from across the country-the to and forgives birth to relevant topics that are ventured into every issue, inter active   writing exercises, assignments and monthly performance art sessions. The aim is to provide an experience and a space for individual growth outside the confinements of academic quarters by engaging in alternative mediums for expression."

Mohammad Kaif
Guest of Honour

Born on Dec 01, 1980 (42 years)
Birth Place: Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh

July 13th 2002, Lord's, London: A young batsman came in at number 6 after the loss of big guns like Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly in a chase of 326. Even the 21-year-old's parents, admittedly, changed channels after Tendulkar was dismissed and started watching Devdas on television. What would a rookie manage to do if the Little Master himself was back in the hut? In an Indian team that had made it a habit to lose big finals, a loss to England in the final in their den wouldn't have come as a big surprise. Little did they know, that the entire landscape of Indian cricket was about to change in the hour that followed, courtesy their rookie son.

He writes in the same direction that other contemporary Indian English Fiction writers are writing. His debut novel ‘Few Things Left Unsaid’ became the best seller in no time!
