KiiT-IS Debate Club? Debate is a great activity to have fun and develop confidence and public speaking skills that can benefit students throughout their lives. So this activity we have designed to test and enhance the students academically. Hence we have created forum to present controversial topics in a structured manner and argue them with the goal of a final resolution. Practices will be held after school throughout the week and tournaments will be held throughout the year, giving students an opportunity to compete in various events. The program strives to support the most committed debaters while providing opportunities for all students to improve their skills and test themselves as appropriate, given their interest and other commitments.

As an academic extracurricular activity, debate keeps students engaged in positive, academically oriented work beyond the school day, where they develop trans-formative relationships with peers and teachers, rather than bad influences.

Today, you’ll find here high-quality resources that will allow you to do things such as learn a basic understanding of the types and components of debate, prepare yourself to debate with success, give you an opportunity to vote on controversial online debate issues and much, much more.
